Volume on 25 Years of the Aarhus Convention

Publication of “25 Years of the Aarhus Convention in South Eastern Europe”

The volume brings together research and practical experience concerning the Aarhus Convention’s three pillars and emerging environmental-justice challenges.

The book was published by the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law and the OSCE Mission to Serbia. Contributions address access to information, public participation and access to justice, as well as SLAPPs, corporate due diligence and new legal instruments.

The authors include researchers, prosecutors, attorneys, institutional representatives, environmental defenders and young lawyers educated through the Environmental Law Clinic and Jean Monnet Chair activities.

The volume brings together academic analysis and experience from the judiciary, public administration, legal practice, independent institutions and civil society.
