Eleventh Cohort of the Environmental Law Clinic
The call for a new cohort was published in September 2025.
The programme, delivered within JMC EECL in cooperation with the OSCE Mission to Serbia, was open to third- and fourth-year students, final-year students and master’s students in environmental law. Participants had the opportunity to work with judges, prosecutors, attorneys, public institutions and environmental organisations.
The programme included analysis of current cases, insight into the work of administrative and judicial bodies and the possibility of international experience through cooperation with the University of York Sustainability Clinic. Completion was linked to a certificate and assessment in the Legal Clinic skills course.
The eleventh cohort built on the established programme by adding new opportunities for international and interdisciplinary cooperation. In addition to work on national legal problems, students could become acquainted with the University of York’s clinical model and problem-based learning. International experience developed during JMC EECL was thus incorporated into the regular Clinic programme and made available to subsequent cohorts.
